The challenges of the airline industry and the increasingly fierce competitive environment have prompted us to closely examine the Austrian Airlines Group ’s current brand image and the internal and external impact of our individual brands.
Every company ’s value is clearly defined by its brand and its product. This makes it all the more important to have a harmonious,well co-ordinated brand image, particularly in difficult economic times. Having closely analysed our internal market opportunities and conducted an employee questionnaire, we have refocused the positioning of our brands. The objective of all this was not a mere optical alteration, but rather a forward-looking reorientation in the interests of our various business segments that will become evident in the airline ’s external image.
